The ICT Faculty at Our Lady’s R.C. High School strives to provide a high quality Arts education for all students through a specialist and combined curriculum. As Catholic educators we aim to use our beliefs and values to help nurture and develop students so that they enter the wider world as academically, morally and socially enriched young people. As well as solid qualifications, students will acquire an appreciation and affection for the Arts current technologies whether that be in a logical sense with Computing or a more creative approach in Media Studies. We believe that embracing technology in our studies it can develop students to become cooperative, responsible, independent, resilient and reflective individuals. We believe that every student has the potential to be brilliant and individuality they should be celebrated. We believe every student from these experiences will develop skills, knowledge and understanding through innovative, unique and an inspiring technological curriculum in Computing, ICT and Media Studies.
"The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn't think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential." Steve Ballmer
