Following changes to the allocation of buses to school, all services will be provided by Yellow School Buses from September 2018 and therefore all students wishing to travel on Yellow School Buses will need a pass.
Y1 and Y2 replace the old 717 service
Y3 replaces the old Y88 service
Please note that places are limited and seats are reserved for individual students, rather than allowing anyone to get on the bus. The number of seats is determined by the bus company and routes are based upon the catchment profile of students’ addresses. Regrettably, once seats are allocated, students will have to use public transport. More information is available at https://www.tfgm.com/tickets-and-passes/bus-yellow-school-buses
Students will require an IGO pass to secure children’s fares.
All the information about the Greater Manchester Yellow School Bus Services, including how to get an Igo pass (which is required to travel on a yellow school bus) and how to apply can be found on the Transport for Greater Manchester website.
