Our Lady’s is working in partnership with PET-XI and is offering parents/carers of our students a fully-funded opportunity to access a credible NCFE Level 2 IT user skills qualification in just five days.

PET stands for Progressive Educational Tools and Xi stands for “XPLOSIVE INSPIRATION” which is at the heart of everything the company deliver.

The five-day course is aimed at unemployed parents and is a fantastic opportunity to build skills, prospects for employability and confidence.

Free IT Skills Course

Changes to the benefit system mean you now have to apply online for universal credits. Not everyone feels comfortable in their IT ability to complete online applications and forms. Our Lady’s wants to support parents who need to access their universal credits, make online job applications or submit other online forms.

Eligibility requirements for parents

 Aged 19+
 Unemployed and in Receipt of JSA, ESA or universal credits.
 If not in receipt of benefits, then unemployed and seeking employment.
 Not completed a level 2 ICT qualification or higher previously

Using PET-Xi’s tried and tested model of engaging, intensive and immersive learning PET-XI’s highly-trained staff will work with parents to develop their IT skills in upbeat and engaging sessions. Their courses boast an incredible 97% success rate.

How Can I Get a Place on this FREE IT Skills Course?

When we know what the demand is for places on the course we will schedule to date for the course to run either over October half-term (Monday 22 October-Friday 26 October) or February half-term (Monday 18 February-Friday 22 February).
