World Book Day Book Swap

Do Something Booky For World Book Day

To celebrate the 20th World Book Day we have a range of 'booky' activities taking place this week. On Wednesday, author Alicia Wright will be sparking imaginations throughout Year 7 with her engaging workshops about writing stories based on 'what you know'. Alicia will be selling copies of her books: Miss Prince (£8), The Map is the Treasure(£6) and Vampires Don't Belong in Fairyland(£8).

Free samples of all her books can be found on Amazon.

Thursday marks the official World Book Day. This is the perfect opportunity to share stories you've already enjoyed and read new ones with the Our Lady's Book Swap. Simply bring any good-quality books you've enjoyed into school by Wednesday and you'll receive tokens to exchange for other donated books.

And that's not all! Fancy designing the next National Book Token and bagging £900 worth of book tokens? Entry forms will be available to get your design onto paper during form time on Thursday.
If a book has captured your imagination, then don't keep it to yourself. Let's share a love of reading during World Book Week and beyond!
