Salford Diocese Inspection
The Diocese of Salford's five W’s framework is a process for reflecting on, self evaluating and celebrating Catholic Schools. The framework focuses on the Catholic life of the school, incorporating Welcome, Welfare, and Witness and Religious Education which incorporates Word and Collective Worship.
On the 29 June 2016 an inspection of Our Lady’s RC High School was carried out by the Diocese of Salford. It was an affirming experience for our community with many aspects of our provision being recognised as outstanding. The key strengths of the school included:
- A highly committed and determined staff that share the same vision of providing an outstanding education for its pupils.
- Real genuine care that is reflected in the quality of relationships that permeate all levels of the school.
- The development of the whole child through support, appropriate provision and guidance is a high priority for the school.
This is a testament to all the hard work of staff, students and parents working closely in partnership and another sign of the continuing improvement journey that Our Lady’s is on. The full report is available to read below.
