Vision for Year 11
For each pupil to feel confident in themselves, to be the true version of themselves where they can be proud of their abilities and achievements, yet knowing they have more opportunities to grow and achieve and be excited at the prospect of future challenges. My aim is for each student to leave our school with a clear sense of their achievements, both academically and across the wider curriculum.
I want our students to take their next steps knowing that they have a secure grounding in the skills they need to achieve and to be proud of the effort they have put in. This year we will be rewarding students’ who are making a conscious effort to prepare and revise for their GCSEs, whilst providing individualised support for students whose learning has been effected by Covid 19.
Through working with students and colleagues I will endeavour to support all students in preparing for their final exams and being ready for the next steps for college, work and beyond.
Top 3 Priorities for Year 11:
1. For students to surpass their academic targets.
2. To maintain our excellent behaviour and continue to set high standards.
3. For students to be prepared for their next step.
