Our Partnerships
Partner Primary schools:
Our Lady’s has excellent relationships with our five partner primary schools:
- St Clare’s RC Primary School
- St Malachy’s RC Primary School
- St Anne’s RC Primary School
- St Patrick’s RC Primary School
- St Chad’s RC Primary School
We believe that through this partnership, the transition to Our Lady’s is much easier for pupils, ensuring they are mentally and emotionally ready when it comes to their transition to high school in Year 7.

Post-16 Partners:
We have a very strong long standing relationship with our two local Catholic colleges- Loreto Sixth Form College and Xaverian Sixth Form College.
These colleges are the natural progression for many of our pupils. These colleges put Christ at the heart of all they do, providing excellent support for their students, as well as outstanding teaching and learning opportunities. They provide an environment where students of all cultures and beliefs can thrive and achieve their full potential.
MANCEP School Partnership:
MANCEP is a collaboration between the Catholic secondary schools and the sixth form colleges in Manchester. Close working relationships between the staff and shared training enables us to share the best practice in Manchester for our pupils.
Mindful of the Catholic Mission of our schools and colleges, we acknowledge the centrality of Jesus Christ in our work. It is His revelation, communicated through the teachings of the Catholic Church, which provides us with purpose and direction. We are committed fundamentally to promoting curriculum and professional development, thereby enhancing the quality of teaching and learning for all young people in our Catholic schools and colleges in Manchester.
The MANCEP Prayer:
Come, Holy Spirit, imbue us with your strength, that we may bring the light of faith, the hope of the Gospel, and the promise of your kingdom, into our schools and colleges.
Grant that the work of the MANCEP schools and colleges will bear fruit for the good of the young people in our care, and for the benefit of its members.
Eternal God, bless the schools and colleges in MANCEP, that they may be lively centres for learning, discovery and the pursuit of wisdom; grant that those who teach and those who learn in them, may find you to be the source of all truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
