TEAM BUILDING
The reason for the last trip was to help bring some team cohesion and a sense of belonging amongst the year group. Mr Mottershead felt this was important for them as they entered their final year at Our Lady’s.
The group were fantastic and behaved brilliantly in their response to some challenging activities and really got stuck in and made the most out of the trip. We received lots of positive feedback from the PGL staff who lead the groups, they commented on how the students were a credit to our school which made Mr Mottershead extremely proud of his year group. Kayaking on the lakes brought about some deep rooted fears but like true Our Lady’s pupils they tackled them head on and had a great time. It was a fantastic experience and a chance to bond and meet new friends from different schools.
The trip was a great success and the pupils and staff truly enjoyed the experience. It was Adrenaline filled, full of laughs, and a whole lot of food, we loved it.
Our next visit to the park will be for the whole of Year 7 on the 8th November – 10th November 2023
