Extra-Curricular
These are defined as any learning activity outside normal lesson time; participation is voluntary. The extra-curricular programme aims to motivate students, raise self-esteem and establish new friendships. Clubs, trips and activities at Our Lady’s give students the opportunity to extend their learning and raise achievement. All students are welcome to take part regardless of their ability, age or needs.
Aims of the Programme:
- To create opportunities for personal enrichment.
- To motivate individual students according to their needs and interests.
- To allow participants the chance to learn and develop new skills and perhaps discover a new talent.
- To instil students with a positive attitude toward themselves, school and learning outside the normal curriculum.
Staff members run a variety of clubs to cater for all students which take place at lunchtimes and after school.
