Who is Our Lady?
Our Lady, Mary the mother of Jesus is our patroness and we look to her for guidance and support.
In all of her actions she exemplifies the mission of the Church through her resilience and dedication to God. We look up to Mary and reflect on her though our learning journey, working with commitment and dedication in all we do.
Mary is the model of the Church. She agreed to God’s will to give birth to Jesus and supported and displayed her faith in her son throughout His ministry. She was with Him at every stage of His work on Earth and fully supported and followed His teachings.
“By her complete adherence to the Father's will, to his Son's redemptive work, and to every prompting of the Holy Spirit, the Virgin Mary is the Church's model of faith and charity”

Each of the houses in our school are dedicated to Mary, and these allow us to reflect on the Marian values of faith, charity and discipleship:
- We can show faith in our lives by supporting the ethos & gospel values of truth, tolerance, justice & forgiveness.
- We can show charity in our lives in everything from raising money for charitable causes, all the way to helping those in our lives when they need it.
- We can show discipleship by being a witness to Jesus’ actions & reflecting them in our life; loving our neighbour, supporting those around us and turning the other cheek.
