Extracurricular and Enrichment

We believe every pupil should have the chance to find something they love outside the classroom. Clubs, trips and activities help pupils build confidence, make new friendships and discover talents they might not have known they had.

We run a wide programme at lunchtime and after school, covering sport, the arts, academic interests, faith and hobbies. Every pupil is welcome, whatever their ability, age or needs. Additional opportunities include the Year 7 residential to Condover Hall, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, outdoor learning at our Forest School and international visits to Paris and Madrid.

Making sure everyone can take part

We work hard to make sure that cost, confidence or circumstance never stop a pupil from joining in:

• All clubs are free

• Pupils eligible for pupil premium receive support towards the cost of trips and residentials.

• Staff and prefects personally encourage pupils who have not yet joined a club, and we track who takes part so that we can reach pupils who are missing out.
• We make reasonable adjustments so that pupils with SEND can take part fully.
