Science

Homework in Science is set to encourage the discrete three disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics and also the links that bind the three discipline areas together.  This enables the students to embed their knowledge. 

KS3 - Years 7-9

Homework is set weekly on Sparx science. All assignments take 30 minutes to complete and are set at an appropriate level bespoke to each student. The student receives immediate feedback through the assignment and support is given when needed. All content is linked to material covered within that term and some linked knowledge from previous learning.

KS4 - Years 11 and 12

Homework is set weekly on Sparx science. All assignments take 40 minutes to complete and are set at an appropriate level bespoke to each student. The student receives immediate feedback through the assignment and support is given when needed. All content is linked to material covered within that term and some linked knowledge from previous learning.

Year 11 will receive additional exam questions / papers, which are bespoke to the class / individual pupil. Teacher will provide feedback on these.
