PE

Homework is not explicitly set in years 7 to 9 for PE or in KS4 Core PE.  All students are encouraged to take part in at least one hour of physical activity outside of lesson time to improve their overall health and wellbeing. 

KS4 - GCSE/VCERT

Homework is set on a system called everlearner. This platform allows students to revise the content covered in class time, with opportunities to test their knowledge and deepen their understanding. Homework is set in the form of small, low-stakes tests, allowing the teacher to track understanding and address student misconceptions in a timely manner.

GCSE students are required to take part competitively in at least 1 sport outside of school and record all training and competitive sessions they take part in. Other sports can be played for leisure but pupils need exposure to 3 sports at least for their GCSE.
