Geography

Homework in Geography is designed to support the curriculum covered in lessons by aiding  students to commit knowledge to their long-term memory.

KS3 - Years 7-9

Homework is set on a fortnightly basis. All students are given knowledge organisers which contain key information needed for each unit of work.  Homework consists of revising knowledge from the organisers which is checked by the class teacher.  These knowledge organisers support students in preparing for their knowledge quiz which is completed in class. At the end of a half term, students get a chance to review all topics on their knowledge organiser in preparation for their end of unit quiz.

KS4 - Years 10 and 11

Homework is set on a bi-weekly basis.

Students are provided with topics to revise in preparation to complete exam questions.  This supports students in preparing for their exams and to practise applying their knowledge to exam based questions.
