Year 7 Residential Visit
As part of their transition into high school, all Year 7 pupils take part in a residential visit during the autumn term. The trip provides an excellent opportunity for pupils to build friendships, develop confidence, and strengthen their sense of belonging within the year group.
The center offers a wide range of exciting outdoor activities suitable for all ages. Facilities include a sports and activity hall with a climbing wall, a full-size football pitch, purpose-built dining facilities, and a large chill-out lounge. The extensive grounds feature lakes, rivers, abseiling towers, zip wires, high ropes courses, giant swings and much more.
TEAM BUILDING
The focus of the trip is on teamwork, resilience and personal growth. Pupils are encouraged to support one another, step outside their comfort zones, and make the most of the adventurous activities on offer. Staff and activity leaders consistently comment on how positively pupils engage with the challenges and how well they represent the school.
For many, the experience provides an opportunity to overcome fears, discover new strengths, and form lasting friendships. The trip is always a memorable highlight of Year 7, filled with laughter, new experiences, and plenty of shared moments.
